In 2023, about 75% of our senior leader positions were filled internally and 520 frontline employees were promoted into management roles. Approximately 17,000 new employees joined our United team through various channels. As we grow our workforce, we are broadening and strengthening our pipelines to source and cultivate the next generation of talent that will lead our company into the future. One of the ways we are broadening access to high-paying aviation careers and fostering transformative opportunities is through programs like United Pathways, including Aviate, Calibrate and Innovate. These programs make pilot, technician and digital technology careers more accessible by raising awareness, focusing on skills-first hiring and removing financial barriers. We develop program participants through rigorous, world-class training and skills assessment programs to ensure that each new team member meets the highest quality, safety and professional standards.
