“As a global company with a footprint in over 80 countries and with more than 66,000 employees, diversity is in our DNA. However, we recognize that simply having a diverse team is not enough; our culture of inclusion is what allows us to fully harness the power of diversity and convert it into tangible business outcomes. Inclusion is one of our five core values. We achieve our greatest successes when every team member, regardless of their background, feels empowered to contribute their unique skills, perspectives and approaches towards reaching our goals.”

Michelle Loo
Chief Diversity Officer

“At Linde, we are committed to fostering a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in all aspects of our work. We believe that diversity enriches our perspectives, fuels innovation and drives our success. We are dedicated to creating an environment where all individuals feel valued, respected and empowered to contribute their unique talents and experiences.”

From the Company

Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company serving a variety of end markets, such as chemicals and energy, food and beverages, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, metals and mining.

Every day around the world, our people are inspired to make our world more productive by delivering innovative solutions, technologies and services that make our customers more successful and help to sustain, decarbonize and protect our planet.

Inclusion is one of Linde’s core values because when our people feel included and engaged, they contribute their best ideas, which drives our productivity and our mission. To that end, our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives include:

  • Ongoing leadership commitment continues to drive DEI accountability and tone from the top.
  • 2023 marked the company’s first-ever global Inclusion Week. These five days of focused attention on inclusion were welcomed by employees worldwide and will now be an annual celebration. The week provides an opportunity to re-commit our value and learn new ways we can each contribute to a more inclusive work environment.
  • As a part of our journey to build a more equitable place for everyone, everywhere, we launched a Women’s Centre of Excellence in South Africa, providing technical skills training for aspiring young female professionals through apprenticeships. Linde also opened our first woman-led air separation facility in Hyderabad, India.
  • Employee-led Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) continued to expand the opportunities available for colleagues with common interests to share, connect and learn in the more than 100 countries where Linde does business.
  • While the act of giving is always an individual decision, the collective power of Linde’s values-driven philanthropy helped to foster greater social impact in 2023 supporting marginalized populations/groups worldwide.
