Fair360 hosted its first kick-off webinar for the 2025 Top 50 survey cycle on Dec. 18, 2024.
Shane Nelson, Chief Operating Officer at Fair360, started the discussion by highlighting the benefits of taking the survey. They include:
- Benchmark your company’s workplace inclusion strategy against hundreds of others.
- Identify your organization’s strengths and opportunities to improve workplace programs and build a connected culture.
- Assessment – provides external validation of your organization’s strengths and opportunities. This will help you build support for your work.
Another benefit of the survey is the free 10+ page report card participants receive. View a sample of the report card here. The 2025 report card is more in-depth than the 2024 version, Nelson said. Specifically, it will tell you how your company fares in the five best practice initiatives we measure. Those areas are:
- Executive Diversity Councils
- Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- High Potentials
- Mentorship
- Sponsorship
The New and Improved Survey
On top of the benefits mentioned above, the 2025 survey only has 130 required questions, down from 178 in 2024. Questions about executive compensation were removed, and the Supplier Diversity section has been simplified. The Philanthropy section of the survey is optional, Additionally, there will be no Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) or Philanthropy specialty list in 2025.
Another change is that the National Organization on Disability Tracker (recently rebranded the Disability Blueprint) does not have to be completed to participate in the Top 50. Companies that wish to be recognized on the Top Companies for People with Disabilities (PwD) list must complete NOD’s Disability Blueprint.
Benchmarking Reports
As always, we’ll provide Benchmarking Reports to those who pay for this service. These reports help organizations monetize the value of their inclusive workplace. Moreover, it’s paired with personalized advice from us on where your company will receive the best return on investment (ROI).
A Benchmarking Report also provides:
- Comparisons of your voluntary turnover and replacement costs with top-performing companies
